Jennifer "Jenn" Miler has been in the animal field since 1988. Over the year, she has worked for vets, kennels, groomers, animal shelters, a dog food company, a pet related magazine, and has been pet sitting since 1989.

In October of 1991, Jenn received a certificate of completion for a two-year certification program in Animal Sciences. Her hands-on work for that program was done at Pasadena Veterinary Hospital in St.Petersburg, Florida for three years. Jenn completed this program with a 93% average.

In 1996, Jenn completed a Pet First Aid and CPR instructor program with Life Education of Florida under the instruction of Dr.Nicholas Cooley.

Jenn started Doggone Purrfect Pet Care in June of 1995, and was an active member of National Association of Professional Pet Sitters from that time until 1999. She was nominated for that organization's "Hall of Fame" award in 1996, 1997, and 1998. She also served on their Board of Directors.

Jenn is the founder and coordinator of the Tampa Bay Professional Pet Sitters Network…founded in 1995. She is a member of Pet Sitters International and was nominated many times for their "Pet Sitter of the Year" Award before being chosen as the recipient of that award in 2007…and she also serves as a member of their Ambassador Bureau.

Jenn is a member of Pet Sitters Associates and that organization carries the Liability Insurance for Doggone Purrfect Pet Care.

Jenn is active with SPCA Tampa Bay,Coastal Poodle Rescue, Bay Area Disaster Animal Response Team, National Disaster Animal Response Team and various other animal related organizations and several non animal related organizations as well. She also serves as a committee member for the Pinellas County Pet Friendly Evacuation Shelter Program.

In the summer of 2004 and 2005, Jenn was deployed for hurricane relief work with Emergency Animal Rescue Service (EARS).

In June 2000, Jenn and her business, Doggone Purrfect Pet Care, were featured on Bay News 9 in their "Everyday Heroes" segment. And over the years, the company has been featured on most of the other news channels in the Tampa Bay area.
